Dear Friends of Asahi,

Due to the State lifting the mask mandate and dropping all Covid safety procedures, we felt it necessary to update our own store health and safety policies. In order to offer the safest shopping environment for all of our guests, our best defense is to continue to wear masks inside of our store. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines of maintaining physical distance and requiring frequent hand washing with vigilant sanitation.

We value the lives of our staff and our community, please understand the risks we take to be in the front line. We’re all looking forward to the day when things are back to normal and we can see your lovely smiles again! Please help us get to that day faster by continuing to wear your mask and follow best health practices.

COVID-19 Health and Safety Policy

POLICY The virus that causes COVID-19 can spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, and because the majority of our community have not yet been vaccinated, it is the policy of ASAHI IMPORTS to require the following:

1. Face covering still REQUIRED

All persons over the age of 10, including employees, customers, visitors, delivery drivers, and contractors, who enter our establishment must wear a face covering over their NOSE and MOUTH.

The requirement of a face covering does not apply if covering the nose and mouth poses a greater mental or physical health, safety, or security risk. Anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to wear and remove the cover without assistance may be exempt.

**If you do not have a face covering we will gladly provide you with one, please ask!

2. Social distancing and capacity limit protocols to be upheld

Even with the use of appropriate face coverings, individuals should maintain 6 feet of physical distance whenever possible.

a)    Employees should not work within 6 feet of one another, except to the extent necessary to provide services,

b)    Patrons should maintain 6 feet of separation from other individuals outside of their party to the extent feasible when inside business premises,

c)    Patrons queuing or waiting inside or on the premise must maintain 6 feet of separation from other individuals outside of their party.

d)    Due to our square footage, we must limit the number of shoppers at one given time in order to maintain physical distance while shopping.

3.  Rules to be enforced

Patrons who refuse to wear a face covering will be asked to leave and may not be provided goods or services until the face covering requirements are met. 

**We are happy to assist you with a curbside order so you do not have to enter our store.

テキサス州によるマスク着用の解除、およびコロナウィルスに対しての安全対策縮小の中、当社はお店における健康と安全のための独自のポリシーを提示させて頂く必要性があると感じました。安全な環境でお買い物を楽しんでいただく最も効果的な対策として、店内でマスクを引き続き着用していただく事をお願いいたします。これからもCDCのガイドラインに従い、的確な衛生管理のもと、ソーシャルディスタンスおよび手洗いを遂行していきます。

私たちはお客様の御健康と安全を第一に考えています。またスタッフへの配慮も同様です。どうぞ、私ども従業員がいつもリスキーな状況にいるということもご理解ください。 スタッフ一同、従来の生活に戻り、皆様の素晴らしい笑顔をまた拝見できる日を心待ちにしています。皆様と一緒にこの日を一日も早く迎えるために、マスクの着用と正しい衛生管理を行なっていきましょう。 

新型コロナウィルスに関する安全および衛生管理方針

３月６日、２０２１更新

方針 新型コロナウィルスは、殆ど症状のないあるいは無症状の感染者によっても感染します。この目には見えない脅威、また大多数の方がまだワクチン接種をされてない状況を考慮し、“あさひ”は以下のことを皆様にお願いもうしあげます。

１、      マスクの着用を引き続きお願いします。

どなたでも、10歳以上の方（従業員、お客様、業者さん、他）であれば、入店される際には必ず ”口と鼻” をマスクで覆ってください。

但し、マスク着用によって、重大な精神的および身体的問題を引き起こす恐れのある方には、当てはまりません。また呼吸困難、意識の無い方、ご自分では動けない方、マスクの着脱が難しい方に関しましても、上記方針の適用外になりえます。

＊＊もし、入店時にマスクをお持ちでなければ、こちらでご用意致しますのでご遠慮なくスタッフにお申し付けください。

２、      ソーシャルディスタンスの遂行と人数制限について

適切にマスクを着用されている場合においても可能な限り、お互いに６フィートの距離を保ちましょう。

a)     スタッフは、特に必要とされるサービスを除き、お互いに６フィート以上の距離を保ちながら仕事に従事します。

b)     また、店内において、お客様あるいはグループ間では、可能な限りお互いに

６フィートの間隔を保つようお願いいたします。

c)      店内あるいは店の外で並んでお待ちになる場合にも、他のお客様との間隔を

６フィート保たれるようご協力お願い申し上げます。

d)     お店の広さを考慮しますと、お互いに適切な距離を保つためには、一度に入店していただくお客様の人数を制限させて頂くことをご了承下さい。

３、      上記のルールを守っていただきます。

マスク着用を拒否されるお客様におきましては、入店できないことを申し上げますと同時に、マスク着用のご理解とご協力を頂くまで、当店でのお買い物が難しいことをご了承いただきたく存じます。
