Curbside Ordering FAQs

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Please visit our website then go to Curbside Ordering page in the menu. Fill out the order form with as much detail as possible.

Q: How do I pay for my order?

A: When you arrive to pick up your order at curbside, we’ll bring out our credit card chip reader so you can insert your own card. You can also use your mobile device to pay via Apple, Google or Android Pay.

Q: How do I pick up my order?

A: Text 512-953-RICE or call our voiceline at 512-453-1850 to let us know that you’ve arrived. Please let us know the make and model of your car. We’ll bring your order out to you.

Q: What time is curbside service available?

A: Curbside service is available Tuesday through Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. You can always place your order at any time using our online order form.

Q: Which location can I pick up my curbside order?

A: Currently curbside service is only offered at our Asahi MAIN located at 6105 Burnet Road, 78757. We do not have curbside service at our south store at this time. We apologize for any inconveniences.

Q: Is there a fee for Curbside Ordering?

A: Effective May 1, 2020, an order fulfillment fee will be added to all curbside orders. Fees based on transaction total:

$1 to $40 → $2

$41 to $60 → $3

$61 to $100 → $5

$101 to $150 → $7

$151+ → No Fee

Q: I want to add some items to my order that I already submitted. How do I do that?

A: If you’d like to add to your order, please fill out another order form. While we love talking to all of our customers, please avoid calling or texting to add to your order.

Q: What do I do if I don’t see the item that I want on your reference list?

A: Even if you don’t see an item on the list, please go ahead and request it. We will do our best to fulfill your request. If you’re not sure what the item is called, please describe with as much detail as possible and we will do our best to figure out the item!

Q: Something is wrong with my order, who do I contact?

A: We’re still trying to work out the kinks in our curbside system, thank you for being patient and understanding with us. If you find that there is something wrong with your order, we want to make it right. Please contact us via Text, Email or Voiceline. When contacting us, please include your name and pick up date so we can access your order history.

Q: Do you offer no-contact payment options?

A: Yes! Our chip reader that we bring out for curbside payment is mostly contact free. However, if you’d like to be completely contact-free, we can email you an invoice with a secure link to pre-pay for your order.


Q: Can I have my curbside order delivered to my home?

A: Yes! We have partnered with the delivery company Shore Shop to offer HOME DELIVERY! Please select “Home delivery and Prepay” option when filling out your curbside order form.

Q: How much does home delivery cost?

A: PRICING is as follows (miles are measured in driving distance from Asahi Imports):

$15 for 0-5 miles

$20 for 6-15 miles

$25 for 16-35 miles

Q: How do I calculate the distance from Asahi to my home?

Q: How do I pay for my home delivery order?

A: An invoice will be emailed to you to pay for your order and delivery fee. Invoice must be paid before delivery can be made.

Q: When can I schedule a delivery?

A: You may schedule your delivery Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 7pm. Delivery dates/times are subject to scheduling availability. You will be contacted prior to the delivery to confirm delivery charges, date and approximate time frame.

Q: How soon can I get my order delivered to me?

A: While 24 hours advance notice is appreciated, we will try our best to accommodate same day delivery if order is placed with at least a 5 hour lead time.

Q: How will I know if the delivery has been made?

A: Our delivery person will text or call you prior to delivery.  Please let us know if you have any special instructions (e.g. specific location to leave the package, gate code, etc.)

Q: Do I need to tip my delivery driver?

A: Tipping is not necessary but appreciated. Our delivery person is a third party and works separately from Asahi, if you would like to tip them please tip directly to the driver.
